Chemical/Treadmill Nuclear Stress Test

DSC_0003.jpg

On occasion the patient has baseline EKG changes or is not able to walk adequately to achieve a certain heart rate to allow for interpretation of the test results. On those occasions we elect to proceed with a nuclear stress test that allows one to compare blood flow at stress and rest. Since there are two parts to the test, it could sometimes take up to 4 hours, please bring material that would keep you occupied. Dress in layers as we have to keep the temperature much lower.

As always, we at Advanced Cardiovascular Care offer these test at a fraction of the cost charged at any one of the major hospitals.
